Our story beings in March 1956, Anna Davies opened a small village shop at the age of 16 with help and guidance of her father. The small shop Anna Davies – The Welsh Wool Shop sold textiles and clothes from local and traditional woollen mills. Located in the stunning village of Betws-y-Coed, the gateway of Snowdonia. A popular holiday destination, Anna started supplying textiles and linens to the local guesthouses. As our business continued to grow we moved into larger premises and a few extensions later Anna Davies has now evolved into the largest independent retailer in the area. Now stocking a wide range of items including ladies' and men’s fashion, homeware and gifts. We still pride ourselves on selling quality products, stocking British brands such as Joules and Barbour alongside traditional Welsh Tapestry Blankets and locally made products, such as artisan pottery, food, sheepskin rugs and textiles. In 2013, Anna Davies continued to grow with the opening of our jewellery shop. With the same ethos of stocking quality products from big brands such as Clogau Gold, ChloBo Pandora and much more.
